The Anchor-Point Leadership Academy draws from four enduring streams of wisdom: the Bible and the knowledge God has provided for faithful leadership and daily living; the leadership development doctrine of the United States military; modern research in organizational behavior and emotional intelligence; and the disciplines of archery. We believe that principles proven across generations, cultures, and industries are the ones worthy of building leaders upon.
After retiring from the United States Army as a Human Resources Non-Commissioned Officer, Aaron Waseca entered the civilian field of Human Resources and organizational leadership. Across multiple industries, he observed a recurring pattern: exceptional technical performers were promoted into leadership positions without ever being intentionally developed to lead people. They were expected to navigate conflict, make sound decisions, build healthy cultures, and develop others — often without a framework for doing so.
His military service demonstrated a different model. In the Army, leadership is never left to chance. It is deliberately developed through disciplined training, education, coaching, accountability, and practical experience. His Christian faith and study of Scripture revealed an even deeper truth: leadership begins with the condition of the leader's heart. Before a person can lead others well, they must first lead themselves well. Who you are will always shape what you do.

Every significant leadership decision begins by preparing the leader before evaluating the decision. The Anchor-Point Leadership Framework moves through three integrated disciplines — each one designed to slow the leader down, anchor them to principle, and release them to act with confidence.

The Anchor-Point Method
Prepare and plan through five steps: STANCE, ANCHOR, ALIGN, AIM, and EXECUTE. A repeatable process that returns the leader to fundamentals before every significant decision or action.
Step 2
The SIGHT Check
Evaluate every decision through five checkpoints: Safety, Integrity, Governing Laws and Policies, Human Impact, and Task and Operations. A conscience-level filter applied before release.

The PRAY Leadership Pause
Stop and reflect before acting. Seek wisdom greater than the pressure of the moment. The pause that separates reactive leaders from principled ones.
